O’Fallon Parks!
O’Fallon is home to seven wonderful parks. Our parks come in all shapes and sizes.
On the North Side of O’Fallon:
Civic Park: This 20 acre park is home to Alligator’sCreek Aquatic Center, a bandsatand, Civic Hall, a pavillion, two playgrounds, horseshoe pits and O’Fallon’s Historical Society Log Cabin Museum.
Dames Park: 59 acres that include three football fields, two playgrounds, three pavillions, bike & walking path, fitness course and the Vietnam War Memorial.
Westhoff Park:A great 65 acres with two lighted baseball diamonds, two lighted softball fields, two pee-wee fields, sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, basketball courts, tennis courts, handball court, two playgrounds, pavillion, skate park and concessions.
Ozzie Smith Sports Complex: 76 acres includes the T.R Hughes Ballpark (minor league baseball), seven lighted baseball/softball diamonds, concessions, playground, and the St Charles County Amateur Sports Hall of Fame.
South of I-70 in O’Fallon:
Fort Zumwalt Park: 47.5 acres with Lake Whetsel (for fishing), Zumwalt’s Fort stone chimney (circa 1798), the historic Darius Heald Home (circa 1884-1886), pavillion, playground, walking path,
Knaust Park: 6 acres tucked away with playground and a walking trail
O’Fallon Sports Park: 95 acres that is home to the Renaud Spirit Center (indoor amenties that include swimming pool, gymnasium, fitness center, aerobics and more), 12 field soccer complex, playground, two pavillion, and concessions.
